It's almost the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013. No baby yet. It was kind of sad on Christmas morning, because that was our goal, to be pregnant by Christmas....no such luck. So our next step is finding out if my tubes are blocked or not. It's called "hysterosalpingogram" Of course our insurance doesn't pay for it, so it will be a little pricey....among other things that are headed our way. I have to take a Valium so that my muscles are relaxed. They have to put a colored dye in there. If my tubes are blocked, then they have to do surgery to remove the blockage.....hopefully that's not what happens. If my tubes are not blocked, then we will try IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination). That's where they insert Jeff's sperm into me. We will try that for a couple of months and if that doesn't work, then we will try IVF, (InVetro Fertilization), where they take my egg and Jeff's sperm and put them together in a peatree dish and then they put the fertilized egg back in me. I'm really nervous to have this test done, but it will be good to know what's really going on.
I gotta tell you, trying to have a baby for a long time really puts pressure on your relationship. You have a lot of emotional issues going on.....with taking the pills the doc gives you, to praying your period doesn't start every month. I know that Jeff is going through a lot of pressure too. We both are trying to figure out money (paying doctor bills) while everything else is going on. We have worked hard to try to get most of our debt paid off before we get pregnant so that when we have our baby we won't have as much stress.
With the new year coming quickly, we are still very hopeful to be pregnant. Our little one will know how much we have done so that he/she could come into this world and be with us.

Still in love after a year and a half
Jeff and I got married on March 12, 2011. See MyWedding Story blog for details. We have two rambuctious dogs. Cody is 3 years old, he is a Shih Tzu, Pomeranian mix and he is very smart. Daisy is 9 months old, she is an Imperial Shih and she loves to play. We love them very much !!
Since we have been married, we have been TTC (trying to conceive). We have had no luck, so we decided to go to an Infertility specialist. The doctor we talked to was very nice and very knowledgeable. We have high hopes of conceiving sooner than later.
Things are going really well. We have a house with a bick backyard for our dogs to play in. We have a trailer, which we LOVE to take out on camping trips in the summer time. Which, btw, Jeff shot his first buck !!! I was very proud of him :) It was a three pointer and we got a lot of meat out of it. The skull and horns are hanging on our living room wall.
We love watching Dexter, Bones, Survivor and Walking Dead together. And we still have our seperate times while he plays his video games (Diablo III and first shooter games at the moment) and I read or work in the garden or whatever I decide to do at that time LOL.
Well, that's about it for now. I will keep the blog posted about our TTC as well as other important things that come up in our lives. :)
